Recently I received an email from someone who has been battling latex allergy for decades, hoping that I had some pull with Amazon for an erroneous listing.
Amazon in their search criteria is listing Playtex 18 hr bras as latex free! The name itself comes partially from latex plus it says on their website, "while not latex free, has breathing holes". Someone should tell Amazon. Maybe they will listen to you.
Well, I wish they did listen to me! But in fact, at one point my book Poisoned: Failed by Western Medicine, Modern Construction, and Corporate Interests was just a few hours away from being taken off of Amazon due to wrongthink, despite simply sharing my life experience.
As I share in my article Are Amazon Listings Accurate?, a lot of the product listings on Amazon actually are written by random sellers. Since I used to sell on Amazon and edited product listings myself, I can state this without question.
While it would be nice to be able to rely upon the information provided by manufacturers, I've also previously addressed that even CEOs, company owners, and inventors often know less than I about their products (material-wise) than I do. Thus, obtaining accurate information in this age of grand deception is tricky indeed!
We certainly can't trust online product listings, including those on a manufacturer's website, as I share in my article Why You Can't Trust Online Product Listings.
And finally, in my article This Is What A Scam Company Looks Like, we find that much is not what it appears when it comes to one product listing and "company."
What Can We Do to Find Reliable Product Information?
Well, personally I rely upon discernment more and more as this age of time marches forward. While we do offer consultations for such endeavors, we also have a great deal of information posted online for free- simply use our search page! And for the very short list of companies that I actually like, along with products we use ourselves, see our shop page.
Can You Help?
Please share our content with anyone who might be interested, especially in any social media groups you may be in. The natural rubber latex industry hates this information, as do many other industries! We receive less than 1/50th of the search engine traffic which we did 4 years ago.
This is an intentional attack on truth.
